EU passport holder with no restrictions to working throughout Europe. Dublin born and raised, I was printing images in my bedroom darkroom while still a teenager. After moving to London I studied at the renowned Polytechnic of Central London gaining a degree in Film & Photographic Arts. My practice evolved from that point to include portraiture and fine monochrome landscapes. There followed a move to Edinburgh where I worked for Scotland on Sunday and the Scotsman and quickly gained a reputation for going for the unusual - Mohammed al-Fayed in a kilt, up close on Jimmy Boyle, Scotland’s most dangerous criminal, and iconic designer Terence Conran in a ‘see you Jimmy’ bonnet. I currently photograph People & Places, and Food & Drink, for a broad range of clients, in a natural everyday style frequently capturing the unexpected and charming moments of the subject’s day.
